This cheesy garlic bread recipe is so easy, it takes 5 minutes from start to finish! So much better than store-bought, make this semi-homemade version.

Ingredients
- 1 loaf French bread fresh, or a couple of days old
- ½ cup butter one stick, softened
- 2 teaspoons garlic powder see note
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- 2 teaspoons Italian seasoning
- 4 tablespoons Parmesan Cheese
- ½ cup mozzarella cheese

Instructions
- Turn the broil element in the oven on high.
- Slice the loaf of french bread in half lengthwise so you are left with two long pieces. Place them on a sheet tray.
- Spread the butter evenly between the two pieces.
- Sprinkle the spices evenly between the two pieces.
- Sprinkle the cheese evenly between the two pieces.
- Broil on high for 2-3 minutes, until the cheese is bubbly and brown. It is best to watch this the entire cooking time, as it can burn quickly.
Notes
- The amount of spices and cheese can be customized to your taste, add more or less of any of these ingredients.
