Ingredients
- 2 boneless skinless chicken breasts, cooked and shredded
- 1 cup shredded Mozzarella cheese
- ½ cup cream cheese softened
- 1 tablespoon garlic powder
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 4 large flour tortillas
- ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- ½ cup fresh spinach optional
- salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix together the shredded chicken, mozzarella cheese, cream cheese, garlic powder, and Parmesan cheese. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
- Add the chicken mixture to the skillet and cook for 3-4 minutes, stirring occasionally until the cheese is melted and the mixture is heated through.
- Lay the tortillas flat on a surface and divide the chicken mixture evenly among them.
- If desired, add fresh spinach on top of the chicken mixture before wrapping.
- Fold the sides of the tortilla in and roll it up tightly to form a wrap.
- Place the wraps seam-side down in the skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes per side until golden brown and crispy.
- Remove from the skillet and cut in half. Serve immediately.
Notes
- You can add other vegetables, such as bell peppers or onions, for extra flavor.
- To make this dish spicier, add red pepper flakes or a few slices of jalapeño to the chicken mixture.
- For a low-carb version, use lettuce wraps instead of tortillas.
- These wraps can be prepared ahead of time and stored in the fridge for up to 2 days.
- You can also bake the wraps in the oven for a less greasy version—bake at 375°F (190°C) for 10-12 minutes.
- Serve with a side of dipping sauce like ranch, marinara, or a spicy mayo.
