Cheesy Garlic Green Beans

Cheesy Garlic Green Beans combine tender-crisp green beans roasted with a garlic and parmesan oil mixture, then topped with melted mozzarella cheese broiled to a golden finish. This side dish offers a blend of fresh vegetable crunch and creamy, cheesy richness, ideal alongside roast poultry or other mains.

Description

This recipe starts by trimming green beans and spreading them on a baking sheet for roasting. They are coated in a blend of olive oil, minced garlic, shredded parmesan, kosher salt, and cracked black pepper. Roasting at a high temperature for 20 minutes cooks the beans until bright green and tender-crisp.

After roasting, shredded mozzarella is sprinkled over the beans, which are then broiled until the cheese melts and develops golden spots. This adds a creamy, slightly stringy texture and a mild cheesy flavor that complements the garlic and parmesan seasoning. The dish combines freshness from the beans with the savory depth of cheese and garlic.

This side pairs well with roasted turkey or chicken, adding a vegetable component that is both flavorful and texturally varied. It can be served immediately to enjoy the contrast between the warm cheeses and crisp beans.
