Cheesy Garlic Monkey Bread
Description
This dish starts by melting butter with finely minced garlic and fresh parsley to create a garlic butter mixture. Refrigerated biscuit dough is cut into pieces and tossed with the garlic butter, shredded cheddar, mozzarella, and Parmesan cheeses, and optionally chives. The mixture is placed in a greased baking dish and topped with extra cheese and butter before baking.
As it bakes at 350°F, the biscuit pieces rise and cook together, forming a moist, cheesy loaf with crisp edges and a slight garlic-herb aroma. The combination of cheeses offers meltiness and flavor contrast within the soft bread pull-apart pieces.
Cheesy Garlic Monkey Bread is suitable for sharing as a savory appetizer or side. Brushing the final bread with reserved garlic butter after baking enhances flavor and moisture. It can be served warm for best texture and taste.
Allow refrigerated biscuit dough to come to room temperature before preparation for lighter texture. Leftovers store well for a couple of days and can be reheated in an oven, air fryer, or microwave.
