Cheesy Garlic Pull Apart Bread Recipe + Video

Simple Cheesy Garlic Pull-Apart Bread recipe made in a skillet! This tantalizing party snack makes little bites of cheese bread that can be dipped.

Ingredients

  • 20 yeast roll dough or raw frozen and thawed yeast dough balls, homemade
  • 10 lices American cheese Land O Lakes® White Deli brand
  • 1/2 cup butter 1 stick, melted, Land O Lakes® Salted brand
  • 1/3 cup Parmesan Cheese grated
  • 1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder

Instructions

  1. Start with thawed or fresh-made yeast roll dough balls. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees F. Grease a large 14-15 inch cast iron skillet.
  2. Melt the butter and stir in the garlic powder. Using kitchen shears, cut the dough balls into quarters and dunk the pieces in the melted butter. Then spread the pieces over the bottom of the skillet.
  3. Place the skillet in the oven to quick-rise for 15 minutes. Meanwhile cut each piece of Land O Lakes® White Deli American into 6 little rectangles.
  4. Take the skillet out of the oven. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Insert a butter knife in between the risen dough sections and tuck little pieces of cheese in as many places as you can.
  5. Drizzle any remaining butter over the top. Sprinkle with parmesan cheese and Italian seasoning. Bake for 20-25 minutes, until golden. Serve as-is or with a side of marinara for dipping.

Notes

  • This recipe can also be made in two smaller oven-safe skillets.
