Cheesy Kale Bread Stuffing

Ingredients
- 1/4 cup butter 1/2 stick, unsalted
- 2 medium onion sweet, thinly sliced
- 6 cloves garlic minced
- 1/4 cup white wine dry
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper ground
- 1 bunch kale rinsed and dried
- 8 cups sourdough bread about 1 larger loaf, day-old
- 1 cup gruyere cheese about 6 oz, finely grated
- 3-4 cups vegetable stock or chicken stock
Notes
- * any large loaf of country-style bread will work well in this recipe. My favourites are sourdough, French Bread, or a hearty multigrain.
