Cheesy Vegetable Casserole

Cheesy Vegetable Casserole blends tender green beans, broccoli, and cauliflower with a creamy mushroom soup and cheddar cheese sauce, topped with crispy fried onions. The casserole offers a rich texture with savory flavors and a crunchy topping. It serves as a comforting vegetable side dish suited for family meals.

Description

This Cheesy Vegetable Casserole uses a mixture of frozen green beans, broccoli, and cauliflower lightly cooked until tender-crisp. The vegetables are combined with condensed cream of mushroom soup, garlic powder, milk, and cheddar cheese to create a creamy mixture that is poured into a casserole dish. Additional cheddar is sprinkled on top and baked until bubbly and golden.

After initial baking, the casserole is finished with crispy fried onions distributed on top, then baked further to create a crunchy golden crust contrasting with the creamy filling. The casserole’s texture varies from tender vegetables to creamy sauce with crispy onion topping.

This dish pairs well with roasted or grilled meats and provides a flavorful vegetable component to a meal. It can be a side at casual dinners or potlucks.
