Cherry Vanilla Dark Chocolate Overnight Oats
Description
This recipe mixes plain Greek yogurt and almond milk with vanilla whey protein, maple syrup, and vanilla extract to create a creamy, lightly sweetened base. Rolled oats, chia seeds, a pinch of salt, pitted chopped cherries, and chopped dark chocolate are stirred in for texture, natural sweetness, and flavor contrast.
Once combined and refrigerated overnight, the oats absorb the liquids and soften to a pudding-like consistency. The cherries provide a tart, juicy note while the dark chocolate adds richness and subtle bitterness. Topping with additional cherries, chocolate, or almond butter offers extra flavor variations.
This preparation is convenient for meal planning and can be kept refrigerated up to three days, allowing for advance preparation of nutritious breakfast or snacks. The protein powder and chia seeds boost the nutritional profile, making it satisfying and balanced.
