Chewy Cinnamon Apple Granola Bars Recipe

These Chewy Cinnamon Apple Granola Bars blend toasted oats, seeds, pecans, and puffed rice with a sticky honey and coconut oil syrup flavored with cinnamon and vanilla. Diced dried apples add sweet fruit notes, while flax and sunflower seeds offer crunch and nutrition. Chilled in a pan before slicing, the bars hold together softly with a chewy texture.

Description

The recipe-toasted mixture of oats, sunflower seeds, flax seeds, and pecans enhances their flavor and crunch before combining with puffed rice cereal for lightness. Honey, coconut oil, and a sweetener blend are heated and combined with vanilla to create a binding syrup that coats the dry ingredients. Ground cinnamon adds warmth balanced by salt.

Chopped dried apples introduce chewy bursts of apple flavor throughout the bars. After mixing, the combination is firmly pressed into a parchment-lined pan and refrigerated for at least an hour to set. Once firm, the slab is cut into individual bars suitable for snacking or breakfast on the go.
