Ingredients

Pizza Dough

  • water 105 degrees F, warm, 1 cup
  • honey 1 tablespoon
  • vegetable oil 1 tablespoon
  • instant yeast 1 tablespoon
  • salt
  • all-purpose flour 2 ½ cups

Alfredo Sauce

  • 1/4 cup butter salted
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan Cheese grated
  • 1/2 Tablespoon all-purpose flour

Toppings

  • 1 cup chicken seasoned with salt and pepper, cooked, chopped
  • 4 lices Bacon cooked, chopped
  • 3 cups mozzarella cheese shredded
  • 1 green onion thinly sliced

Instructions

Pizza Dough

  1. Preheat oven to 450 degrees F. In the bowl of an electric stand mixer, fitted with the dough hook, mix together the warm water, honey, oil, yeast and salt. Add the flour gradually until a soft dough forms and pulls away from the sides of the bowl. The dough should be soft and smooth. You can add up to another 1/4 cup of flour, but no more than that.
  2. Knead the dough for 3 minutes in the stand mixer. Cover dough with plastic wrap and let rest for 10 minutes. After resting, shape and flatten dough to fit into a large greased pizza pan or baking sheet.

Alfredo Sauce

  1. In a medium saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Whisk in heavy cream, garlic, and Italian seasoning. Stir in Parmesan cheese and flour. Bring to a small simmer. Reduce heat to low and allow to thicken. Once thickened, remove from heat.

Toppings

  1. Spread Alfredo sauce evenly over the top of the dough. Top evenly with the chopped chicken, then sprinkle evenly with Mozzarella cheese. Spread the chopped bacon over the cheese.
  2. Bake pizza in preheated oven for 13 to 14 minutes, or until crust is golden brown and cheese is melted. Remove from oven and sprinkle the sliced green onion over the top of pizza. Let pizza stand 5 minutes before slicing and serving. Enjoy!
