Chicken Bacon Pasta

Ingredients

  • 4 chicken breast boneless skinless

Dry Herb Rub

  • 1 ½ tablespoons kosher salt
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1 teaspoon sage
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon sugar

Sauce

  • ¾ cup heavy whipping cream
  • 4 ounces cream cheese softened
  • ½ cup Parmesan Cheese grated
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • ¼ teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • teaspoon black pepper ground
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ½ pound Bacon cooked and crumbled
  • ½ pound penne pasta dry

Instructions

  1. Preheat the grill to high heat while you prepare the chicken.
  2. Add the dry rub ingredients in a small bowl and mix to combine. Rub the mixture on each side of the chicken breasts.
  3. Grill the chicken for about 4-5 minutes on each side or until no longer pink.
  4. Cook the penne pasta according to package directions until al dente. Drain and rinse the pasta in hot water. Set aside.
  5. In a large saucepan add the heavy cream and cream cheese. Heat together until smooth and the cream cheese has melted. Add garlic powder, red pepper flakes, pepper, and salt.
  6. Lastly, whisk in the parmesan cheese. Continue to cook over medium heat until heated throughout. Add the crumbled bacon.
  7. Add the cooked pasta to the sauce and stir to combine.
  8. Slice the chicken and serve with the pasta mixture then enjoy!
