Chicken Bacon Ranch Casserole
Description
This Chicken Bacon Ranch Casserole brings together cooked rotini pasta and shredded chicken mixed with Alfredo sauce and ranch dressing to create a creamy, flavorful filling. The mozzarella cheese topping melts over the casserole, while bacon adds a smoky, crisp contrast. Baking at 350°F allows the casserole to heat through evenly and develop a light golden crust.
The dish balances creaminess from the sauce and cheese with the savory, slightly tangy ranch and smoky bacon pieces. Fresh parsley sprinkled on top adds a bright herbal note. It works well as a filling main course for family meals or potlucks.
For convenience, the casserole can be assembled ahead and frozen unfried in a disposable pan; bake it from frozen by adding extra cooking time. Leftovers store well refrigerated for 2-3 days and reheat either in the microwave or stove with some milk to restore creaminess.
Ingredients
- 1 pound rotini pasta cooked and drained
- 2 cups chicken shredded, cooked
- 1 (15-ounce) jar Alfredo sauce
- ½ cup ranch dressing
- 6 lices Bacon cooked and crumbled
- 2 cups mozzarella cheese shredded
- parsley fresh
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F.
- In a large bowl, mix the pasta, chicken, Alfredo sauce, and ranch dressing. Pour the pasta mixture into a 9 x 13 baking dish.
- Sprinkle the mozzarella cheese evenly over the top of the pasta, then sprinkle the bacon on top. Bake 15-20 minutes, until hot and bubbly. Sprinkle with fresh parsley before serving.
Notes
- This casserole can be made ahead and frozen uncooked for one to two months in a disposable pan, tightly covered.
- When baking from frozen, add approximately 30 minutes to the cooking time to ensure it heats through fully.
- Store leftovers in airtight containers in the refrigerator for up to three days.
- Reheat leftovers in microwave or stovetop, adding a splash of milk to restore the creamy texture.
