Chicken Broccoli Ziti
Description
Chicken Broccoli Ziti starts by sauteing minced garlic in olive oil, then cooking cubed, boneless chicken breasts until golden. White wine deglazes the pan, extracting browned flavors, and simmers down before adding chicken stock for a flavorful sauce base. Seasoned with salt and pepper, the sauce is kept gentle to highlight the ingredients.
Meanwhile, ziti pasta cooks in salted water, with broccoli florets added near the end to maintain their bite and color. The drained pasta and broccoli combine with the cooked chicken in the sauce pan, mixing in shredded mozzarella cheese that softens and coats the pasta with creamy texture.
The dish is plated and garnished with grated Parmesan cheese, adding a salty finish. The result is a balanced pasta platter with tender chicken, crisp broccoli, and melting cheeses offering a comforting meal.
