Chicken Caesar Pasta Salad
Description
Cooked bowtie pasta is cooled slightly before tossing to maintain shape and prevent mushiness. The salad balances tender pasta and chicken chunks with crisp chopped romaine lettuce. Parmesan cheese contributes savory, nutty notes, while Caesar dressing unites the ingredients with its creamy, tangy character.
The addition of croutons on top provides a crunchy contrast to the soft pasta and chicken, enhancing mouthfeel and overall texture. Black pepper adds a light sharpness enhancing the seasoning.
This salad functions as a standalone meal or a substantial side dish. It can be chilled before serving, allowing flavors to meld. The composition is practical for make-ahead lunches or buffet-style serving at gatherings.
