Chicken Nuggets

These Chicken Nuggets consist of bite-sized pieces of boneless skinless chicken breast coated in a seasoned flour mixture and fried until golden and crispy. The coating includes garlic salt and coarse black pepper for flavor. Frying at 350°F crisps the outside while ensuring the chicken is fully cooked and juicy inside, making them a straightforward and satisfying snack or meal addition.

Description

Chicken Nuggets are prepared by first mixing flour with garlic salt and coarse black pepper to season the coating. Chicken breast pieces are then coated in beaten egg and dredged in this flour mixture, allowing the coating to adhere well. After resting briefly, the nuggets are fried in 2 inches of vegetable oil heated to 350°F. Cooking in small batches prevents overcrowding and ensures even frying. The nuggets fry for 3-4 minutes until cooked to an internal temperature of 165°F and develop a crispy golden brown exterior.

The garlic salt and pepper add savory depth to the otherwise simple flour coating. The frying method produces nuggets with a crunchy crust surrounding tender chicken chunks. These nuggets are versatile for dipping or serving with sauces and can be part of casual meals or appetizers.
