Chicken Parmesan Sliders

These fun and cute Chicken Parmesan Sliders are a great way to use up leftover chicken tenders by pairing them with toasted ciabatta buns and fresh basil.

Ingredients

Servings
  • 4 chicken tenderloin small
  • 2 tablespoon Parmesan Cheese grated
  • ¼ C marinara sauce
  • 4 lices mozzarella cheese
  • 4 ciabatta bun mini
  • handful basil fresh leaves

Instructions

Prepare the chicken:

  1. Bake the chicken tenders according to the package directions.
  2. About 5 minutes prior to the end cooking time, remove the chicken from the oven.
  3. Sprinkle grated parmesan cheese over each chicken.
  4. Spoon 1 tablespoon of tomato sauce on top of each chicken and add mozzarella cheese.
  5. Return the chicken to the oven and finish baking.
  6. Remove from oven.

Assemble:

  1. Lightly toast slider buns in the warm oven for 3-5 minutes.
  2. Split the buns in half.
  3. Spoon a layer of tomato sauce to the bottom half of the slider buns.
  4. Place the baked chicken parm on top.
  5. Add a few fresh basil leaves, and cover with the top half of the bun.
  6. Enjoy immediately.
