Chicken Salad Recipe
Description
This chicken salad features diced cooked chicken blended with mayonnaise and Dijon mustard for creaminess and tang. Celery and green onions add crunch and mild onion flavor, while fresh dill introduces subtle herbal notes. Seasoned with salt and black pepper, the salad is mixed thoroughly and chilled to meld flavors.
The assembly involves placing a leaf of Romaine lettuce on croissants and topping with the chilled chicken salad, creating a balanced sandwich with tender meat, crisp lettuce, and soft bread.
This dish is best served cold and can be prepared ahead. The combination of textures and flavors makes it suitable for lunch or light dinners.
Leftover chicken salad should be refrigerated in an airtight container and consumed within a few days for safety and freshness.
