Chicken Tenders

Ingredients

  • 500 g chicken Tenderloins, cut into strips
  • 100 g plain flour
  • 2 egg Beaten
  • 150 g breadcrumbs
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • neutral cooking oil For frying, generic cooking oil

Instructions

  1. Combine the flour, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper in a large bowl.
  2. In another bowl, whisk the eggs.
  3. Place breadcrumbs in a third bowl.
  4. Take each chicken strip and coat it with the flour mixture, then dip it in the beaten eggs, and finally coat it with breadcrumbs by pressing them onto the chicken.
  5. Repeat the coating process with all the chicken strips.
  6. Heat 1 inch of vegetable oil in a large frying pan over medium heat.
  7. Fry the chicken strips in the oil until they turn golden brown and crispy on both sides, which usually takes about 2-3 minutes per side.
  8. Once done, drain the excess oil from the chicken strips by placing them on a paper towel-lined plate.
  9. Serve the chicken strips while still hot, along with your preferred dipping sauce.
