Chicken Tenders Recipe
Description
This Chicken Tenders Recipe starts by preparing several coating stations: flour, beaten eggs, and a breading mix of panko crumbs, garlic salt with parsley flakes, and lemon pepper. Chicken breast strips are dredged in flour, dipped into eggs, then thoroughly coated with the seasoned panko mix to ensure a crispy crust after frying.
The tenders are fried in medium-high heat oil for about 4 minutes per side until golden and fully cooked inside. Once cooked, drainage on paper towels removes excess oil, leaving a crunchy exterior with juicy, tender chicken inside. The seasoning in the breadcrumb mix lends flavorful accents without overpowering the chicken’s natural taste.
This recipe can be prepared ahead and refrigerated before frying, facilitating meal prep. Leftovers keep well stored airtight in the refrigerator for several days or frozen for longer-term storage. Reheating can be done in various appliances to maintain crispness and convenience.
Ingredients
- vegetable oil
- 2 pounds chicken breast boneless, skinless, cut into strips
- 3 egg
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 cup panko bread crumbs
- 1½ teaspoons garlic salt with parsley flakes

Instructions
- Heat oil on medium-high heat in a pan.
- Add beaten eggs to a bowl, flour to another bowl and Panko mixed with garlic salt, and lemon pepper in a third bowl.
