Chili Pizza

Take the classic chili cheese dog and twist it up with this Chili Pizza. Chili sauce, cheddar cheese, sliced hot dogs, and onion top a chewy pizza crust.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound pizza dough
  • 2 1/2 cups chili sauce
  • 2 cups cheddar cheese shredded
  • 4 hotdog thinly sliced
  • onion for topping, optional, fresh
  • parsley for topping, optional, fresh

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 500ºF.
  2. Grease a 16" pizza pan with olive oil, or use a baking stone or pizza screen. Roll out the pizza dough to fit your pan, then place pizza crust on the prepared pan. 1 pound pizza dough
  3. Spread the chili sauce on top of the dough. Then sprinkle cheddar cheese on top. Layer with sliced hot dogs. 2 1/2 cups chili sauce, 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese, 4 hot dogs
  4. Bake for 13-15 minutes, or until cheese is bubbly and the pizza is nicely browned.
  5. Top with onions and fresh parsley. Serve immediately.
