  • 4-6 ears corn 5 ears, small to medium size
  • 1 talk lemongrass
  • 1 oz coconut milk 330 ml, low fat is fine
  • 2.5 cups vegetable stock 625 ml; or chicken stock; plus more if bisque is too thick
  • 2 tbsp ginger peeled and chopped
  • 2 tbsp shallot chopped, approx. 1 large shallot
  • 1 tbsp fish sauce
  • 2 tbsp basil chopped plus more for garnish
  • 1 gr crab meat or cooked shrimp
  • 1 tsp kosher salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper ground
  • 2 tsp Chili oil optional
