Ingredients
- 16 ounces cream cheese softened
- ½ cup sour cream
- 4.5 ounce dried beef AKA chipped beef or Buddig Beef, package
- ½ cup green onion chopped
- ¼ cup pickled jalapeños drained and diced (mild or hot
- 1 tablespoon dill fresh, chopped
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
Instructions
- Place the softened cream cheese and sour cream in a medium mixing bowl.
- Add the Worcestershire sauce and garlic powder and mix until very smooth. (Make sure there are no clumps of cream cheese left.)
- Chop the dried beef into scant pieces. Then chop the green onions, jalapenos, and dill. Mix the dried beef, green onions, jalapenos, and dill into the cream cheese mixture.
- Chill until ready to serve. Serve with toasted baguette slices, butter crackers, or fresh cut vegetables.
Notes
- Soften cream cheese thoroughly or warm briefly in the microwave for easier mixing and smoother texture.
- This dip can be warmed in a 350°F oven for 15 minutes; add shredded cheese on top before baking for a hot, cheesy variation.
