Ingredients
- 1 cup rolled oats divided, of
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- ¼ teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 Tablespoon ground flaxseed
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 Tablespoons of liquid sweetener I use an agave/ maple syrup mixture
- 2 Tablespoons coconut oil melted
- ½ banana ripe
- ¼ cup rolled oats left un-blended, of
- ¼ cup chocolate chips or cacao nibs to make it raw
Instructions
- Take the first 3/4th cup of rolled oats and blend in a blender or food processor to make a course oat meal. It doesn't need to be as fine as oat flour though.
- Add the remaining ingredients except the chocolate chips and blend or process them again.
- Stir in the chocolate chips and 1/4 cup of the whole rolled oats.
- Form balls and put them in the fridge to set.

- Incorporate chopped nuts such as walnuts, almonds, or cashews for extra texture and crunch.
