Chocolate Chip Banana Bread Baked Oatmeal

This baked oatmeal combines ripe bananas and protein powder with old fashioned oats, producing a hearty breakfast or snack that's both soft and slightly chewy. The addition of mini chocolate chips adds sweet pockets of flavor, while sliced bananas on top create a fresh fruit contrast. Baked in a pan until set, this dish is portioned into six squares, making it convenient for meal prep or sharing.

Description

Chocolate Chip Banana Bread Baked Oatmeal is a comforting dish that merges the familiar flavors of banana bread with the wholesome texture of baked oats. Using ripe bananas both mashed within the mixture and sliced on top adds natural sweetness and moisture. Protein powder enhances the nutritional profile, while a lightly sweetened batter bakes into a soft yet firm consistency. Mini chocolate chips mixed in and sprinkled on top offer bursts of rich chocolate that balance the oats and banana.

Prepared by mixing dry ingredients separately and combining them with wet ones before baking at 375°F until set, the oatmeal holds its shape well when cut. The banana slices on top caramelize slightly during baking, adding an attractive presentation and additional taste dimension.

This dish can be enjoyed warm or at room temperature, suitable for breakfast or a snack. Its portioned servings allow easy sharing or storing for later meals.
