Chocolate Chunk Banana Muffins
Description
This recipe blends mashed bananas into a batter sweetened with brown and white sugar, and lightly spiced with cinnamon. Melted butter and vanilla provide richness and flavor depth. Combined with flour, baking powder, and baking soda, the batter rises to yield soft muffins.
Chocolate chunks added last create pockets of melted chocolate through the muffins. Baking at 375°F for about 18 minutes produces a golden top and tender interior. The muffins maintain a moist texture and mild banana flavor highlighted by chocolate and cinnamon nuances.
They can be served warm or at room temperature, making them simple for breakfast or anytime snacking.
