Chocolate Covered Strawberry Smoothie
Description
This smoothie recipe combines strawberries and banana with a chocolate twist from raw cacao powder and protein powder to mimic the taste of chocolate-covered strawberries. Dates add natural sweetness while almond milk serves as a dairy-free liquid base, with vanilla enhancing the overall flavor complexity. Blending the fruit and powders first creates a thick puree, then adding ice cubes further chills and dilutes slightly for drinkability.
The smoothie has a creamy texture balanced by the fruit’s fresh tartness and the richness of cacao. The optional addition of stevia allows adjusting sweetness without extra calories. This drink can serve as a nutrient-rich snack or post-workout beverage given the protein powder inclusion.
