Instructions

  1. Place your pretzels vertically at the bottom of the board to create the tree trunk.
  2. Lay a row of fresh rosemary horizontally across the bottom of the board to establish the base of the tree.
  3. Next, lay pepperoni slices above the rosemary.
  4. Follow with a mixture of the pepper jack and colby cheeses.
  5. Next, add a row of black olives.
  6. Lay another row of rosemary to create branches throughout the tree.
  7. Add a row of green grapes.
  8. Add the salami and mozzarella balls. Fold the salmi in half and use the mozzarella balls to prop the slices up.
  9. Add another row of rosemary, then place cheddar cheese and green olives onto the board. Continue adding rows of rosemary throughout the assembly to create the look of tree branches.
  10. Add tomatoes and red grapes.
  11. Use a star shaped cookie cutter or paring knife to cut out a star from a slice of colby cheese. Place the star on top and add little springs of rosemary throughout.

Notes

  • You can place and choose ingredients to your liking! This takes a little bit of finessing but once you start, it's pretty easy to fill in and create a cute, decorative board.
  • To store, cover board in plastic wrap and store in refrigerator.  It's best to not leave it at room temperature for more than 2 hours.
