Christmas Punch Recipe
Description
The Christmas Punch Recipe features pineapple juice mixed with pink lemonade powder for a sweet and tangy base. Adding Sprite just before serving provides a sparkling, effervescent finish that lightens the drink and balances the sweetness. Slices of fresh oranges and cranberries add visual appeal and subtle additional citrus notes.
The method includes mixing the juice and lemonade well ahead of time and refrigerating, which allows flavors to meld. The soda is incorporated just before serving to maintain carbonation and freshness. Ice is added to chill the punch and enhance refreshment.
This punch works well as a non-alcoholic festive drink for holiday meals, parties, or family gatherings. Due to carbonation loss over time, leftovers should be stored in airtight containers in the refrigerator and consumed within a few days.
Ingredients
- 1 (48-ounce) can pineapple juice brand DOLE
- 1 cup Pink Lemonade Mix
- 1 (2-liter) bottle Sprite or 7Up
- 2 orange sliced
- 1 cup cranberries
Instructions
- Add pineapple juice and lemonade mix to a large pitcher and mix well.
- Right before serving, add Sprite and mix well.
- Add ice and top with orange slices and cranberries and serve.
Notes
- Prepare the pineapple juice and pink lemonade mixture up to two days ahead and keep refrigerated to develop flavors.
- Add the carbonated soda just before serving to preserve its fizz and refreshing taste.
- Store any leftover punch in a sealed container in the fridge; it will remain safe to drink though carbonation will diminish after a few days.
