Cinnamon Crackle Cookies

Cinnamon Crackle Cookies offer a spiced chewy texture with a crisp sugar-coated exterior. Infused with cinnamon, nutmeg, and cream of tartar, these cookies include white chocolate chips adding sweet richness that complements the warm spices. Rolling the dough balls in sugar before baking creates a crackled surface. These cookies provide a cozy flavor profile perfect for snacking or dessert.

Description

Cinnamon Crackle Cookies start with a butter and sugar base to create a tender dough enriched with brown sugar and vanilla. The flour is combined with warming spices like cinnamon and nutmeg, along with baking soda and cream of tartar, producing a balanced rise and chewy texture. White chocolate chips folded in provide pockets of creamy sweetness. The dough is portioned into small balls, rolled in sugar to form a crackled, slightly crunchy outside when baked at 350°F for about 13 to 15 minutes.

The result is a cookie with a soft center and a subtly crisp, crackled outer layer. These cookies suit holiday baking or any occasion calling for spiced treats. They can be stored in an airtight container for freshness.
