Cinnamon Cream Cheese Crescent Rolls Recipe

These Cinnamon Cream Cheese Crescent Rolls combine the flaky texture of crescent rolls with a rich cream cheese filling and a cinnamon sugar coating. A melted butter brush enhances the moistness, while the powdered sugar glaze adds a sweet finish. Baking at a moderate temperature yields a golden, tender pastry with a blend of sweet and creamy flavors suitable for breakfast or a snack.

Description

The Cinnamon Cream Cheese Crescent Rolls Recipe features crescent roll dough spread with whipped cream cheese, brushed with melted butter, and spiced with a cinnamon and sugar mixture before being rolled up and baked. This process creates a tender, flaky roll with a creamy filling and a cinnamon-spiced crust. After baking, a glaze made from powdered sugar, butter, vanilla, and milk is drizzled on top, adding a smooth, sweet layer that complements the cinnamon flavor. The result is a warm, sweet pastry with a mix of textures from flaky dough to soft cream cheese and smooth glaze.

Baking at 350°F for 11-12 minutes ensures the rolls are cooked through yet soft inside, with lightly browned edges. The cinnamon sugar adds a subtle crunch and spice that balances the richness of the butter and cream cheese. These rolls can be served warm for a comforting treat during breakfast or coffee breaks.

  2. Add a thin layer of whipped cream cheese onto each crescent roll.
  3. Brush melted butter onto each roll.

  7. Make glaze by combining the powdered sugar, melted butter, vanilla and milk and pour over the top of the warm crescent rolls.
