Creamy and sweet, this Cinnamon Syrup is the perfect topping for pancakes or waffles! It is smooth delicious and the hint of cinnamon gives it the perfect flavor.

Ingredients
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 1 cup heavy whipping cream
- 4 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- In a medium saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Once melted, add the cream, brown sugar, and cinnamon. Whisk to combine.
- Bring the mixture to a boil. Continue to cook, whisking constantly, until the mixture has thickened slightly, 5-7 minutes.
- Remove from the heat and stir in the vanilla extract.
- Pour the syrup into a jar or container for pouring. Serve warm.
Notes
- Store any leftover syrup in the refrigerator. It will thicken up, but can be reheated for a pourable consistency.
