Cinnamon Syrup

Creamy and sweet, this Cinnamon Syrup is the perfect topping for pancakes or waffles! It is smooth delicious and the hint of cinnamon gives it the perfect flavor.

Ingredients

  • 4 tablespoons butter unsalted
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 4 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. In a medium saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Once melted, add the cream, brown sugar, and cinnamon. Whisk to combine.
  2. Bring the mixture to a boil. Continue to cook, whisking constantly, until the mixture has thickened slightly, 5-7 minutes.
  3. Remove from the heat and stir in the vanilla extract.
  4. Pour the syrup into a jar or container for pouring. Serve warm.

  • Store any leftover syrup in the refrigerator. It will thicken up, but can be reheated for a pourable consistency.
