Cinnamon Tortilla Chips

Cinnamon Tortilla Chips are made by brushing flour tortillas with melted butter, sprinkling cinnamon sugar over them, and baking until crisp. The thin, crunchy chips offer a sweet cinnamon flavor and can be served as a dessert snack or alongside fruit salsa for a simple treat.

Description

This recipe uses flour tortillas cut into wedges, brushed with melted butter, and dusted with a cinnamon and sugar mix before baking at 350°F until they become crisp and lightly browned. The resulting chips have a crunchy texture and a warm cinnamon sweetness. Their thinness allows for a pleasant snap, making them suitable as a snack or dessert base.

They can be served with fruit salsas or as part of dessert nachos layered with ice cream, whipped cream, and sauces like chocolate or caramel for a sweet presentation. The chips provide a versatile crispy sweet element that complements fresh fruit and creamy toppings.

Store cinnamon chips in a brown paper bag at room temperature for a few days or freeze in sealed bags for longer storage. They can be refreshed by crisping briefly in the oven before serving if they soften over time.
