Classic Fry Sauce

Classic Fry Sauce combines equal parts ketchup and mayonnaise for a creamy, tangy condiment with a smooth texture. This sauce can be served as is or customized by adding seasonings like pickle juice, mustard, or spices to enhance the flavor. It complements fries, sandwiches, and other snacks where a mild, creamy dip is desired.

Description

The Classic Fry Sauce recipe blends mayonnaise and ketchup in equal portions, forming a smooth and balanced sauce. Optionally, ingredients like pickle juice, Worcestershire sauce, mustard, horseradish, BBQ sauce, or spices such as garlic powder, chili powder, smoked paprika, and cayenne can be stirred in to vary taste profiles.

The sauce's creamy texture and mild tang derive from the mayonnaise and ketchup combination, making it a familiar accompaniment for fried foods. When additional flavorings are used, chilling the sauce allows the ingredients to meld, deepening complexity.

This versatile sauce pairs well with French fries, burgers, sandwiches, and can be adjusted to personal taste preferences. Its straightforward preparation makes it easy to make fresh and use within a month refrigerated.
