Classic Yorkshire Pudding Recipe

This is an easy to prepare classic Yorkshire pudding recipe that is quick to make and uses only a few ingredients. The trick to making the perfect and best Yorkshire pudding is to make sure the beef drippings are hot just before pouring the batter.

Ingredients
- 225 grams milk about 1 cup
- 125 grams all-purpose flour or 1 cup
- 100 grams eggs (or 2 large eggs)
- 3 grams salt or 1/2 teaspoon
- 45 grams beef dripping or 3 tablespoons
Instructions
- Add the eggs and salt into a large jug and whisk them together.
- Pour the milk into the mixture and mix, then add the flour.
- Beat the mixture until the batter is smooth.
- Cover with plastic wrap and place into the fridge for two hours.
- Preheat the oven to 220°C (430°F).
- Place the empty muffin tin into the oven for ten minutes so it heats up and gets hot, then carefully coat the muffin cups with the beef dripping.
- Put back into the oven for about five minutes or until you see the beef drippings sizzle.
- Remove the batter and give it a stir, then divide it between the muffin cups.
- You should hear a sizzling noise right away.
- Place the muffin tin into the oven for about twenty minutes, reduce the heat to 190°C (375°F) and bake for an additional 15 minutes. Do not open the oven door!
- Remove the Yorkshire pudding from the oven when they are golden brown.
- Serve and Enjoy!
