Cobb salad is an American salad made with romaine and iceberg salads, watercress, tomato, bacon, chicken, egg, blue cheese and avocado.

Ingredients
For the salad
- 4 egg peeled and cut in half, hard-boiled
- 1 romaine lettuce finely chopped, head
- 2 chicken breast thinly sliced, cooked
- 8 oz. cherry tomato cut in half
- 4 oz. blue cheese , crumbled (preferably Roquefort)
- 6 lices Bacon crumbled, cooked
- 1 avocado , peeled, pitted and thinly sliced
For the vinaigrette
- 1 chives finely chopped, small bunch
- 1 shallot grated, small
- 2 teaspoons mustard
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 5 tablespoons white wine vinegar
- ½ cup extra-virgin olive oil
- ½ teaspoon salt fine
- black pepper , freshly ground
Instructions
- First prepare the vinaigrette.
- In a bowl, combine the chives, shallot, mustard, honey, vinegar, olive oil, salt and pepper. Emulsify everything well. Set aside.
- In a large salad bowl, arrange the romaine salad. Then top with eggs, chicken, cherry tomatoes, blue cheese, bacon and avocado.
- Spread the sauce over the salad and serve.
Notes
- It is also possible to evenly distribute all the ingredients among 6 salad plates to serve individually.
