Cod Fish Recipe
Description
The Cod Fish Recipe involves coating cod fillets with a mixture of melted butter combined with garlic powder, paprika, black pepper, and sea salt. The seasoned fish is baked in a preheated oven at 400 degrees Fahrenheit until the fillets become opaque and easily flake with a fork. This baking method preserves moisture, yielding a tender texture with a lightly spiced exterior from the seasoning blend.
The paprika offers a mild smoky touch, while garlic powder enhances the savory aspect. After baking, a squeeze of fresh lemon juice and a sprinkle of fresh parsley provide a contrasting citrus brightness and herbal freshness that balance the richness of the butter-soaked fish.
This simply prepared dish works well as a main course accompanied by vegetables or grains. Leftover cod can be stored refrigerated for up to three days. Adjusting seasoning levels allows customization for milder or bolder tastes, and butter can be swapped for olive oil for a dairy-free variation.
