Coffee Milkshake (With Ice Cream)
Description
The Coffee Milkshake (With Ice Cream) recipe starts by dissolving instant coffee in warm water to form a concentrated coffee solution. This base is combined with sugar and blended until frothy. Adding chilled milk and vanilla ice cream creates a creamy and smooth consistency. Ice cubes are optional to enhance the coldness and slight dilution.
The resulting milkshake has a balanced coffee flavor, moderated by the sweetness and creaminess of vanilla ice cream and milk. The frothy texture from blending gives it a light mouthfeel while retaining thickness. Topping with additional ice cream scoops enriches the shake further and adds an indulgent element.
Served chilled in glasses, this milkshake works well as a dessert or a cooling coffee-flavored beverage. It allows flexibility in sweetness and ice cream variety, which can tailor the drink to preference. The method is straightforward and scalable to accommodate different serving sizes.
The notes suggest substituting dairy milk with plant-based milks like almond or soy, and swapping coffee for cocoa powder to create variations such as mocha milkshake. Adjusting sweetness and ice cream flavors is also recommended to suit individual tastes.
