Cookies and Cream No Churn Ice Cream Recipe

Cookies and Cream No Churn Ice Cream is a creamy frozen dessert made by whipping heavy cream into stiff peaks before folding in sweetened condensed milk, vanilla, and crushed Oreo cookies. This no-churn method creates a smooth and rich ice cream base without an ice cream maker, studded with crunchy cookie pieces for texture.

Description

This recipe starts by whipping heavy cream until stiff peaks form to incorporate air, lending lightness to the final dessert. Sweetened condensed milk and vanilla extract are blended in to add sweetness and flavor. Crushed Oreo cookies are folded gently to distribute cookie bits throughout. The mixture is then transferred to a freezer-safe container and chilled for at least eight hours until firm.

The result is a creamy, smooth ice cream with crunchy cookie bits providing contrast. Because it contains no churn process, the texture may be slightly different but it remains soft and scoopable after resting a few minutes outside the freezer. Using quality ingredients enhances the flavor, especially pure vanilla extract.

Allow the ice cream to soften briefly before serving to ease scooping. This ice cream offers the familiar cookies and cream flavor in a straightforward, accessible method.

Ingredients

Servings
  • 16 oz heavy cream
  • 15 oz sweetened condensed milk can
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1 cup Oreo cookies crushed

Instructions

  1. Pour heavy cream into a large bowl, or bowl of a stand mixer (using wire whip attachment), and whip on high for about 3 minutes, until stiff peaks form.
  2. Add sweetened condensed milk and vanilla. Whip on high for an additional minute.
  3. Add crushed cookies and whip on low for 10-20 seconds.
  4. Add mixture to a loaf pan, or freezer safe bowl.
  5. Cover, and chill for 8 hours, or overnight.

Notes

  • Use high-quality ingredients such as pure vanilla extract to enhance the flavor profile.
  • Whip heavy cream only until stiff peaks form to avoid over or under whipping.
  • Allow ice cream to sit for 5 to 10 minutes after removing from the freezer to soften slightly, making it easier to scoop.
