Copycat Texas Roadhouse Butter (Cinnamon Honey Butter)

This cinnamon honey butter mimics the popular Texas Roadhouse style blend, combining room temperature unsalted butter whipped smooth with powdered sugar, honey, ground cinnamon, and a hint of nutmeg. The mixture results in a creamy, sweet, and warmly spiced butter ideal for spreading on warm bread or rolls. Chilling it slightly helps the flavors meld and the texture to set without losing spreadability.

Description

The Copycat Texas Roadhouse Butter uses simple ingredients: unsalted butter, powdered sugar, honey, cinnamon, and nutmeg. The butter is whipped until creamy before gradually incorporating the dry and liquid sweeteners and spices. The gentle speck of cinnamon and nutmeg adds warmth against the sweet honey and powdered sugar, enriching the butter’s flavor. The process uses a mixer for a light, fluffy texture, making it easy to spread on bread.

This butter is commonly served alongside warm bread or rolls, bringing a sweet-spiced complement to savory or simple baked goods. The balance of sweetness and spice makes it a distinctive spread, different from plain butter or standard honey butter.

Refrigerating for an hour is recommended but not necessary, as it can be used immediately. Stored in an airtight container in the fridge, it maintains its flavor and texture for later use.
