Corn Salsa Recipe
Description
The Corn Salsa Recipe combines canned or fresh corn kernels with chopped jalapeno, green bell pepper, and red onion to create a crisp and fresh vegetable base. The dressing consists of lime juice, olive oil, sugar, and garlic salt, which give the salsa a bright acidity and slight sweetness with savory undertones. Adding chopped cilantro just before serving lifts the salsa with fresh herbal brightness.
This salsa’s texture is crunchy from the peppers and onions and juicy from the corn and lime juice. It can be served as a dip with chips, alongside grilled proteins, or as a fresh condiment in tacos and wraps. The method is simple: mix the ingredients, dress, then add cilantro before serving to preserve its flavor and color.
This salsa is best enjoyed fresh but can be stored briefly chilled. The balance of spice from jalapeno and the mild sweetness from corn makes it versatile.
