Corned Beef Hash Overnight Breakfast Casserole
Description
The Corned Beef Hash Overnight Breakfast Casserole brings together canned corned beef hash and minced onion browned in a skillet, then enriched with flour and milk to form a thickened sauce. Hot sauce and cheese add depth and creaminess before the mixture is mixed with beaten eggs, salt, and pepper. After chilling overnight in the fridge, the casserole is baked until set and golden, with extra cheese melted on top at the end.
This method gives the casserole structure and a desirable texture, balancing hearty meat and creamy elements. The baking time ensures the eggs are fully cooked through while the edges crisp up nicely. The melted cheese on top adds a nicely browned finish and additional flavor.
It can be served warm for breakfast or brunch, providing protein and richness with minimal morning preparation. The overnight refrigerator step allows for convenience, making it ready to bake first thing in the morning. The dish pairs with simple sides like fruit or toast if desired.
