Cottage Cheese Egg Bites Recipe

Cottage Cheese Egg Bites combine eggs, cottage cheese, and shredded cheddar blended smooth and baked in muffin molds for light, protein-rich bites. Optional bacon and chives add savory notes, making a creamy and tender texture with a mild cheese flavor. Baked in a silicone pan at 350°F, these egg bites provide a satisfying breakfast or snack option that's easy to prepare and portion.

Description

This recipe blends large eggs, cottage cheese, and shredded cheddar cheese until smooth, seasoned simply with salt and black pepper. Pouring the mixture into a lightly greased silicone muffin pan ensures easy removal after baking. Adding cooked bacon and chopped chives on top introduces savory and fresh herb elements.

Baking at 350°F for about 20 to 22 minutes gently cooks the eggs to a tender, soft texture without over-drying. Cooling before removal helps the bites keep their shape. The resulting egg bites balance creamy and cheesy flavors with protein-rich ingredients, suitable for a quick breakfast, brunch, or snack.

The recipe's simplicity allows for optional add-ins and customization. The calories noted include any bacon and chives used, informing portion considerations and meal planning.
