Cranberry Brie Bites

Cranberry Brie Bites combine flaky crescent roll dough filled with creamy Brie and topped with tart cranberry sauce and optional pecans. Baked until golden, these mini bites offer a crisp exterior and a rich, melty center. They work well as finger foods for gatherings or holiday appetizers.

Description

The Cranberry Brie Bites recipe features crescent roll dough pressed into mini muffin tins, filled with chunks of mild Brie cheese, and crowned with cranberry sauce for a balance of creamy and tangy flavors. Optional chopped pecans add a light crunch. Baking until golden produces a crisp pastry shell enclosing melted Brie, creating a contrast of textures. The bites are best served warm, allowing the cheese to soften fully while cranberry sauce adds bright, fruity notes. These appetizers fit nicely at social gatherings, holiday parties, or as a simple snack.

The recipe advises greasing muffin tins and baking at 375°F for 7-10 minutes until golden. Cooling briefly before serving prevents burns and allows easy handling. Leftovers should be refrigerated in a covered container for up to four days and reheated gently in a muffin tin covered with foil. This reheating method helps maintain the pastry's shape and replenishes warmth evenly.

Servings
  • 8 ounces crescent rolls 1 can, refrigerated
  • 7 ounces Brie cheese cut into 24 pieces
  • ½ cup cranberry sauce homemade is best

  3. Place each square of dough into a mini muffin tin. Add a piece of bried to each and top with 1 teaspoon of cranberry sauce. Sprinkle with chopped pecans if using.
  4. Bake until golden, about 7-10 minutes. Remove from pan immediately. Cool for 5 minutes before serving.

Notes

  • Store leftover cranberry brie bites covered in the refrigerator for up to 4 days.
  • To reheat, place bites in a muffin tin covered with foil and bake at 350°F until warmed through to maintain texture.
