Cranberry Cosmopolitan Cocktail
Description
The Cranberry Cosmopolitan Cocktail starts with a cranberry-orange vodka infusion prepared by simmering fresh cranberries with sugar and water until soft, then steeping them with vodka and orange peel. This infusion adds a fruity depth to the cocktail. When ready to serve, it is mixed with cranberry juice, fresh lime juice, and triple sec or Cointreau, providing bright citrus and tart flavors. Shaking with ice chills and dilutes the drink slightly, resulting in a crisp and balanced cocktail ideal for festive or social occasions.
This cocktail is best enjoyed immediately after shaking to maintain its fresh, vibrant flavors and the crisp coldness from the ice.
