Cranberry Orange Mimosas

Add a little cranberry simple syrup to these traditional mimosas for a festive holiday drink, perfect for brunch!

Cranberry Orange Mimosas

  • 1 cup orange juice fresh squeezed
  • cranberry simple syrup
  • 1 champagne chilled, or prosecco
  • orange slices and for garnish
  • cranberries slices and for garnish

Cranberry Simple Syrup

  • 1 1/4 cups Cranberry fresh or frozen
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup water

Instructions

Cranberry Simple Syrup

  1. In a small saucepan, bring all of the ingredients for the simple syrup to a simmer. Turn the heat down to low and let the cranberries steep for about 10 minutes.
  2. Pour the mixture through a strainer and discard the cranberries. Cover and chill the simple syrup in the fridge until cold. The syrup may be made several days in advance.

Cranberry Orange Mimosas

  1. Add 3 tablespoons of orange juice to the bottom of each champagne flute.
  2. Add 1-2 tablespoons of the cranberry simple syrup to each champagne flute depending on how sweet you want the mimosa.
  3. Top the champagne flutes off with champagne flutes off with champagne or prosecco. Garnish with an orange slice and a couple cranberries.
