  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 1/2 cups cranberries halved (or 1 cup Dried Cranberries, fresh
  • 1 1/2 - 2 cups white chocolate chips or chunks
  • Orange glaze optional
  • 1/4 cup butter softened
  • 1 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 Tablespoons orange juice fresh
  • 2 teaspoons orange zest

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. In a large bowl, cream together butter and sugar for 4 minutes, until light and fluffy. Add eggs one at a time, mixing after each addition. Add orange zest and vanilla or almond extract and cream for 1 minute.
  3. Stir in flour, cream of tartar, baking powder, and salt and mix just until combined. Stir in cranberries and white chocolate.
  4. Chill dough for 30 minutes.
  5. Drop onto Silpat or parchment paper lined baking sheets. Bake for 11-14 minutes or until lightly golden on edges. Let cool.
