Cranberry Salsa Recipe
Description
The Cranberry Salsa Recipe combines tart cranberries with fresh cilantro, green onions, and a minced jalapeño pepper for a mildly spicy kick. Lime juice adds acidity and brightness while sugar balances the tartness, and garlic salt adds a savory note. Pulsing the ingredients in a food processor produces a medium-textured salsa that's chunky but well combined. This salsa can be served at room temperature, often poured over a block of cream cheese and paired with crackers for a festive appetizer. If not serving immediately, refrigeration helps preserve freshness.
Ingredients
- 12 oz cranberries fresh or frozen, bagged
- 1 bunch cilantro chopped, fresh
- 1 bunch green onion cut into 3 inch length
- 1 jalapeno pepper seeded and minced
- 2 tablespoon lime juice
- 2/3 cup sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic salt with parsley flakes
Instructions
- Fit your food processor with a medium blade. Add the cranberries, cilantro, green onion, jalapeno pepper, lime juice, sugar, and garlic salt to the food processor. Pulse until you get a medium blend.
- Serve at room temperature. We love to pour this over a block of cream cheese and scoop it up with crackers.
- Refrigerate if you are not going be serving right away.
