Crazy Easy Sourdough Pancakes

Crazy Easy Sourdough Pancakes blend the tangy flavor of sourdough starter with classic pancake ingredients for a light, fluffy texture. This batter uses a combination of all-purpose flour, sugar, baking powder and soda, eggs, and milk to create tender pancakes with pleasant golden edges. Cooking them gently in butter produces a mild richness that complements the subtle sourdough tang. These pancakes suit a breakfast where you want a balanced sweet and savory profile without complicated steps or rare ingredients.

Description

Crazy Easy Sourdough Pancakes highlight the use of a sourdough starter mixed with typical pancake dry ingredients like flour, sugar, baking powder, and baking soda. The wet ingredients, including eggs and milk, are combined with the starter to produce a batter that yields soft and fluffy pancakes. Cooking each portion in butter on medium-low heat helps develop a golden-brown color and gentle texture without burning. The slight acidity from the sourdough starter adds depth to the overall flavor while keeping the pancakes tender. This approach repurposes sourdough discard for a practical breakfast option.
