Creamy Berry Smoothie Bowl
Description
This recipe provides two ways to make a creamy berry smoothie bowl. The Ninja Creami version involves blending fresh raspberries, strawberries, banana, yogurt, milk, and almond butter, then freezing the mixture for 24 hours before processing it in the Creami machine to produce a thick, creamy texture. Adjusting the liquid content controls the thickness. If needed, a re-spin smooths out powdery texture.
The blender version uses frozen fruit blended with similar ingredients plus optional maple syrup, served immediately in bowls with fresh toppings such as blueberries, seeds, pistachios, and rose petals to add texture and visual appeal. Both versions highlight fresh berry flavors combined with the creaminess of yogurt and almond butter.
Portions vary with the chosen method, and toppings can be customized to preference. The recipe is suitable for a refreshing breakfast or snack, with protein additions like protein powder optional for added nutrition.
Preparation notes include chopping fruit for even freezing in the Ninja Creami and observing fill lines to ensure proper processing. The recipe can be doubled for batch prepping and allows for adjustments in liquid to reach desired consistency.
